Companies are always looking for ways to save on costs and increase profits. One of the easiest ways to achieve these goals is to make use of available technologies to stream line processes and to increase productivity in the workplace.
So much time is wasted on meetings because people don’t always arrive on time. Sometimes there are people that are only needed for certain parts of the meeting but they have to sit in the conference room for the whole meeting.
With conference calls, people can do multi-tasking by working on their computers while engaged in the meeting. After all, their hands and eyes are free to do other things. People can use the time they are on conference call to tidy up their desk. They can do little things that will allow them to continue being productive even when they are part of the conference call.
People who work in remote locations also do not have to spend so much time driving to the location of the meeting and then spending as much time going back to their office. You can be part of the conference call, anywhere you are now that there are mobile phones.
With prepaid conference calls, a business can save a great deal of money not just on phone bills but also other expenses that are incurred when people are made to go to a single location for meetings.
Before getting started, however, we recommend trying out a couple prepaid conference call services before committing to one company. Some providers offer free trials, including a company we found online called SpeedyPin. SpeedyPin is currently (as of the time of this writing) offering a 100 minute free trial of their prepaid conference calls service. You’ll see mention of this trial right on the homepage (top right). Best of all, they are not asking for a credit card for this promotion. We like that!
For more options, search your favorite search engine; we like Yahoo! Happy conferencing.
